Call tonight or before you start the barb-q tomorrow and leave a message that you’ll be in the district office on Friday or Saturday and they’d better be there working. Did gas suddenly go down? Did the economy bounce back? Then what are they doing taking a break?
Your laundry list of things to tell them when you swing through the office:
-sponsor a resolution to have Karl Rove arrested for contempt in ignoring that subpoena. Then tell them work to get a simple majority of Congress to pass it, which is what it takes to put Rove in handcuffs. Or ask him to explain why they have given up being a co-equal branch of government, the one that is supposed to represent us.
-drop by one or both of your senators’ offices and tell them NO IMMUNITY FOR THE TELCOMS IN THE FISA BILL. Give them this hand out.
-tell them all to get cracking on impeachment. Ask them what they’re hiding that the administration is blackmailing them on, that was obtained by the NSA. The time to be nice about this is long past.
